Special Needs Care Jobs in City of Westminster

Looking for a person to look after my son who is 31 years old. He is non verbal and on the autistic spectrum. I need someone from 9am to 1pm - 3 mornings per week (flexible). We are in NW8 9UJ. Pay £20 per hour

Personal assistant (carer) required for a twenty-something woman living with multiple chronic illnesses and disabilities. Woman is an ambulatory wheelchair user and has a baby under a year old. Responsibilities would mostly involve meal preparation and housework as well as occasional assistance with personal care (hair washing), errands and daily tasks. Care plan involves 19.5 hours of care per week. Job sharing likely required due the need for cover during days off, sick leave and annual leave however these hours can be split in any way necessary. Salary £13.15 per hour. Location Fitzrovia W1W. Requirements: - Due to personal care element of the role, male applicants will not be accepted. - DBS check (this can be provided if needed). - Basic first aid training (can be provided if needed). - Experience or knowledge of disability (professionally or otherwise). Previous care experience is not required. - Experience with babies is preferred. - Competency and confidence in preparing food. Ability to follow vegetarian recipes and to meal prep. - Competency with cleaning and other household tasks. - COVID vaccination essential and flu vaccination optional but preferred due to immunocompromised people in the household.
