Special Needs Care Jobs in Barnet

Hello Looking for someone to help me look after my son. He is nine verbal and autistic. I need help dropping and picking him from school, making meals and personal hygiene sometimes.

We are a family of 4. We have two children 17 and 10. I am looking for after school care, Tuesday and Thursdays 3-7 for my son. He is a bright and lovely boy. He has ADHD (medicated) and high functioning autism. He loves construction toys, animals and trips to the country park. I would like someone to do homework/ fun activities/make dinner and helping him get ready for bed. Some light housekeeping, tidying after dinner, helping son to tidy bedroom for example would be required.

Open to all levels of training and experience.

Hello my name is Lucie, I have some extensive dental work coming up and i have nobody who could care for my son during my ############...#### I don't feel comfortable to leave him with anybody. Therefore I'm looking for some who has some experience with special needs children. He is verbal, fully toilet train, can eat by himself with little supervision. Loves to play and is very friendly. The job wouldn't be hard at all just to look after him while I'm gone for 3hrs max. for medical appointment. Just to sit with him keep him company and safe. He is Autistic so don't understand the basic danger that can be around the house. He has large room so he would keep busy by himself. He is very friendly and kind. My lovely 32 year old son has a disability called Angelman Syndrome. He is entirely dependent on others and needs support with feeding, walking, changing, he also wears pads. He is a lovely, smiley and calm boy with a tendency to spend hours laughing. He loves music and water and being around other people. I need some support for one hour every morning from 7am to get him ready for his day centre while I get myself and my other children sorted for the day. This will involve washing, dressing him and giving him his medicine. He’s not really a breakfast person so there won’t be any feeding. Opportunity for extra hours and ad hoc care. Looking for the right person and fit for the family. I will be here at all times. We need somebody who is experienced with severe and complex needs, DBS checked. We’re a very welcoming family, living in High Barnet near the tube station and are looking forward to finding the right match.

Preferably some one with the knowledge of Makaton & PEC’s (not compulsory) should be prepared to tutor, assist with toilet ,take for walks.

My 11 year needs a kind, fun, playful person to spend time with. She is currently not in school.

I am looking for a carer and companion for an adult who has severe food allergies and has a colostomy bag and urostomy bag. The person is very weak and fragile and we would like someone to take care of her including helping her dress, putting eye drops in her eyes, massaging her limbs and generally just being there to look after her. You must speak good English, have previous care experience, be compassionate and patient.

If possible a half day ahead of the full day needed would be great. My son would need help from 7 to get washed, dressed and taken to school for 8.30. He comes home from school at 11. He would need lunch and dinner which I would leave and to be looked after in the afternoon (park, playing games etc). He can do most things for himself. He can be challenging with behaviour particularly when demands are made of him. However, he is funny bright boy Nd lots of fun
