Part-time special needs carer/personal assistant
|
I currently work part-time as a healthcare and teaching assistant at a residential special school following maternity leave and am looking for extra work that I can fit around my own childcare needs. I have been at my current school for 2 years and have worked and volunteered at several other organisations previously, including the national autistic society. I have worked with individuals with a variety of conditions and care needs. I have experience with challenging behaviour, autism, epilepsy, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes, medication administration, asthma, diabetes, hoists, standing frames amongst other things. I love working with SEND children and will ensure they're in a safe, happy, healthy and stimulating environment while I am with them.
