Special Needs Care in Oldham

| I have over 10 years experience as a live in carer and a live out carer working in many types of settings to support people with various types of disabilities. To support them with their every daily living needs.

| I was an Adult Registered Nurse and have cared for many different types of patients over the years I worked in a hospital setting. I spent the last ten years of my career working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery and was involved in the care of all patients there. I had to have enhanced DBS checks done every year I worked as my patients included children, the elderly and vulnerable patients. I am seeking a part time role within easy reach of Oldham by car at times to suit the need of the clients.

| I am a graduate with a BA hons in Inclusive education, Special educational needs and disability. I am now studying my masters in Special educational needs and disability at anglia ruskin. I have spent the last 6 years helping care for both of my younger siblings aged 6 and 3 from birth very intensely. Two of my Three younger siblings have a diagnosis of Autism spectrum condition and my younger brother has a diagnosis of Chron's disease and is PEG tube fed. Alongside all of this I have consistently cared for other peoples children outside of my family home, while the parents work or socialise. I have a DBS certificate for working with Children and I enjoy working with children and having influence in their personal success be it working with them on their school work or their personal goals.

| I am a teaching assistant in a speacial needs school and i am looking to help families by taking their child out on respite care or looking after them in the home so parents can do other jobs or activities. I have plenty of experience of working with children with alot of additional needs. I am able to do medication, use communication devices, button changes and trachea changes and suction, use a hoist to help the child, gravity/nasal and pump feeds.

| I have a great experience in mobility challenged people. My late grand father was struck with stroke that made him bedridden for many years. before he passed out I was the person assisting him, bathing him and moving him on wheels until he recovered. But unfortunately we lost him.. I have patience and I tolerate this people because at times they fill bad about there conditions and it provokes their anger but it take patience and understanding to help them out.. I believe in what I can offer to this role once I find it thank you and best regards.
