Special Needs Care in Bury

| I have experience working in a children's home for special needs children. I have worked in a nursery while completing myour Nvq 3 in childcare and education. I have also train and done volunteer work for home start . Working with families with children under 5. I have completed the cashe course for looking after special needs children and young adults. And past with a merit.

| Hey I’m 19 years old. I have suffered really bad with epilepsy and a stutter when I was a child. I still suffer with epilepsy but it’s all controlled with medication and my stutter has improved but still Can stutter on some words. I think this job would be very relatable to me since I suffer with both. I can understand that persons feeling and try my best to help them as much as possible. I’m very good with my first aid. I’m very reliable and flexible. I’m loving, caring, kind and loyal. If you need something doing ASAP I’ll get it done for you. If anyone needs my help any time I’m always around. I have experience with epilepsy since I have it myself I know what to do when someone is having an episode. I have a few friends who have epilepsy and there has been many times when I’ve helped them through it. It’s the same with stammering. I know how embarrassing it can be. But I will make sure that person will feel comfortable with me at all times

| I am a very family-orientated person. Most of my time revolves around family and friends.I am a very patient, calm individual who is a good listener and helps people. I love playing badminton and listening to music. I love working with children and I currently work in a mainstream primary school. My role is to support children when they are showing challenging behaviour. I settle the children throughout the school and put strategies in place to support them. I work as a teaching assistant. I have experience with special needs children and I also support some children throughout the school with all the subjects, for example, literacy, maths, phonics, history etc. I have over 18 years of experience and enjoy helping children and helping them progress and grow as I find this very rewarding. I have a level 3 in childcare and have all the relevant checks including DBS, first aid, and children's safety and approved by Ofsted and local authority.
