| I really enjoy working with people with additional needs, I find it really rewarding empowering people and helping them be as independent as possible . I like to help others improve their quality of life. I have a lot experience as a support worker/personal assistant . In my most recent role i supported a lady with Asperger's , Damp syndrome , lung disease and cerebral palsy I supported her to improve her quality of life and improve her Independence skills as well as safe guard her . I have also been a personal assistant for another lady for around 5 years who i supported to live independently in her own home as well as care for her pets and have a good quality of life. I have also previously worked as a Student Support Facilitator. I provided specialist support to students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) to enable them to realise their potential at university. I have also cared for my brother who has Autism and mental health illnesses. I have been one of his main carers for most of his life. | I have successfully completed my MSc in Psychology. I am a driven, passionate, and extremely enthusiastic about supporting children with mental health difficulties. I am patient and love children. Throughout my life I have always been easily able to connect with children. I believe the skills and knowledge from my MSC degree are transferable. In my experience as a support worker, I provide person-centred care to a group of people with Autism, learning disability, and complex difficulties. I do this by understanding their needs, as all individuals are unique, each service user (SU) displays different challenges. I make sure I remain patient, open-minded, non-judgemental, and empathetic, and understand behaviors. I am dedicated to get experience and develop.

| I currently work part-time as a healthcare and teaching assistant at a residential special school following maternity leave and am looking for extra work that I can fit around my own childcare needs. I have been at my current school for 2 years and have worked and volunteered at several other organisations previously, including the national autistic society. I have worked with individuals with a variety of conditions and care needs. I have experience with challenging behaviour, autism, epilepsy, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes, medication administration, asthma, diabetes, hoists, standing frames amongst other things. I love working with SEND children and will ensure they're in a safe, happy, healthy and stimulating environment while I am with them.

| I have over 10 year's experience in working with children from 4-11 years old with Special Educational Needs. This includes supporting children with Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndroms, Cystic Fibrosis, Global Development. I have gained all this experience in working on a one to one basis with the child and working with small groups of children in a Primary School setting. I am very much dedicated in this line of work and I am happy to work as many hours as needed. I am available for babysitting, over the holidays, or live in/live out positions.

| I'm currently working as a supply SEN learning support assistant in schools for monarch education, I also have experience working a carer in residential property caring for 3 service users with a small team of support workers how care for the residents with 24hrs support I support with all personal care medications and do sleep in shifts, I have also cared for my son who is now 23 he has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user he is a happy independent young man that needs me less now he's older but still lives at home and supported by me and his family. I have experience great experience looking after children including those with autism and behavior issues and have dealt with Epilepsy suport I'm emergency first aid trained I have a current dbs for on the up date service.

| I have four and a half years experience working as a one to one special needs teaching assistant in two mainstream primary schools. I have recently started additional paid work in supporting a highly autistic child outside of school for a family who required someone to take him out for swimming once every few weeks. I have supported children with autism and global developmental delay who displayed complex learning needs in addition to physical needs. I worked closely with a Speech & Language therapist and carried out interventions on her behalf. I have experience in teaching picture exchange communication (PECS) in order to aid communication. I have an Autism Level 1 certificate, and will soon be undertaking the Level 2 certificate. I am currently supporting a seven year old girl on a full time basis as she is highly autistic and displays challenging behaviour.

| I currently work as a teaching assistant at a special needs highschool. I have had 5+ years of experience of working with children with autism and complex needs. I am fun, outgoing and always up for a challenge. I am quick on my feet and physically active. If you are looking for somebody that cares about your child nearly as much as you, then I'm your girl!
