A JAMaROO first! Come spend the Tuesday mornings at JAMaROO with this fun class combo. Arrive as early at 10:00 to play in the space, take the Music & Movement class from 10:15-10:45, enjoy open play from 10:45-11:00 and do Arts & Crafts from 11:00-11:30, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play from 11:30-11:45! 10:15-10:45 Preschool Music & Movement This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering into preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. 11:00-11:30 Preschool Arts & Crafts This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll Explore different art mediums while fostering speech and language development and exploring textures, colors and shapes! This session, we will focus on fun on the Enchanted Garden, Outer Space, & Insects, Gardens, and Weather! This is an 8 week session for Monday-Thursday classes, and 7 week session for Friday classes. Move, sing and dance with in Lafayette Park! Our Baby Music Classes for infants and young toddlers provide an opportunity for parents and/or caregivers to sing and dance with their little ones to build and strengthen connections. Music supports and nurtures all areas of child development: Social-emotional, Cognitive, Language and Literacy, as well as both areas of physical development, fine and gross motor development. During these classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn many new ones, often using fun visual props to help support language development and symbolic thinking.  Most of our staff has extensive background in Early Childhood Education, intentionally exposing children to a rich variety of language, beats, and sounds while remaining developmentally appropriate. Our programs offer a joyful and rewarding experience for both adults and children, providing a great occasion for babies to interact with other babies and parents to meet other parents. This session, we will focus on fun on the Enchanted Garden, Outer Space, & Insects, Gardens, and Weather! This is an 8 week session.

Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.

At City Kid Camp we bring the knowledge and training of youth development and combine it with games, sports, the history of our awesome city, appreciation of the natural environment and let kids do what they do best – play – while safely guiding them through new locations, social situations, activities.

In this class kids are using dribbling, shooting and passing skills in fun and creative games. Playing games with partners is used to develop teamwork. Scrimmages of 2v2 and 3v3 progress over the season to emphasize the rules of soccer and prepare kids to join a soccer team. SHIN GUARDS are required for this class. This class is a NON-PARENT PARTICIPATION class. If your child needs some help, you are more than welcome to join them to make them feel comfortable. This helps both your child and the group. Butterfly Princesses, gather around! You are all invited to the Magic Garden, where they will host The Butterfly Ball! Craft your butterfly wings, prepare to dance, and end the week with a special meet-and-greet featuring the Sunflower Princess. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:00 - 3:30pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. This class uses creative story-based games to engage toddlers in their early learning experience in athletic development. Kids will learn the basics of kicking a ball along with motor skill development, coordination and socialization. This class is a PARENT PARTICIPATION class. You are required to be with your child during the class. This helps both your child and the group. The more involvement and energy you have, the more your child will get out of the class. NEW CLASS ALERT! TODDLER/ PRESCHOOL CLASSES IN THE AFTERNOON. Class Experience: Our Messy Art Exploration' is a sensory and art-based experience for children. Activities include, but are not limited to exploring with slime, doughs, clay, painting, sifting, transferring, and more. This class is a time for caretakers to observe and support the children letting them follow their own pace through the experiences set up in class. Notes To make the most of this experience, please follow your child's lead. Step back and observe. We invite you to resist the urge to “show” your child the “right” way because in doing that we end up robbing our children of that magical moment when they discover it all on their own. We truly believe that the experience is more valuable than any end product. Parents, if you will be sending a nanny or grandparent with your child, please take a brief moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. Bring your little ones to join the fun and build community each week! From chemical reactions to squishy glow in the dark fun, our Toddler STEAM class provides children an opportunity to learn through play. They will delight themselves by getting their hands messy with STEAM experiments and projects, while nurturing their cognitive growth, and honing their problem-solving and fine motor skills. Note: There is no class on 4/03.

Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

STEMful is a space designed for parents to play with their children. We have a wide selection of toys and structures for children up to 8 years old. Use this daily pass to purchase/register a play space pass for your children. - To register children 0 up to 5 months, enter PlaySpace0 during check out old to pay $0/play pass. - To register children 6 up to 11 months, enter in PlaySpace50 during check to pay $6/play pass. Play Space package can be applied to a daily pass purchase. Children's name and birthday must be on registration account. Note: Saturday PlaySpace will be cancelled if a private party is booked. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional.
