Move, sing and dance at the JAMaROO Kids Club in Noe Valley! Did you know studies have shown that daily family dance parties can help foster self-regulation, all while encouraging bonding? Cut out of work a little early, or come after, and sing and dance together! Clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Family Music Time classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers), all together after a good day's work! We’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Using our curriculum, we will encourage vocabulary, and identify objects and characters as well! Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. Come connect at JAMaROO Kids! Join us for this fun-filled class where we strive to spread delight and wonder by infusing the love of imagination with beginning ballet! All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through magical lands!

What's that in the sky? Its the Superhero Kittens signal! Jump into action with this 6-week club where kiddos will save the day with pretend play, facing challenges and making friends along the way! There may be challenges, but Superhero Kittens always land on their feet! Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

Mumble, a young emperor penguin, lives in Antarctica. Others of his kind use singing to find love, but he has a terrible voice. Instead, Mumble must express himself, and lure a female through his amazing talent for tap-dancing. Our pizza nights include theater games, costumes, a film-related craft, and of course… pizza (and carrot sticks)! The fun lasts about three hours, giving you enough time to go out for a nice dinner, take a stroll to The Castro, or just enjoy some time to yourself. 5:30 Drop off and free play stations: coloring, dress up, legos, beading and more! 6:00 Circle time with theater games and songs 6:15 Art project in theme of movie ~6:30 Pizza party and movie begins! ~8:15 Movie ends 8:15 – 8:30 Pick up window **Please take note of the film we will be showing and make sure the themes are suitable for your child's sensitivities** Please remember we are a nut-free studio. Children are encouraged to come in their PJs to this fun evening yoga class! We will dim the lights and create a fun, yet calm and peaceful ambiance. Teacher Jules does an amazing job bridging the art of storytelling with yoga! In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Our goal is to give young children a developmentally appropriate way to explore yoga poses, mindfulness and social emotional learning. Little Folkies is a multi-award winning early childhood folk music program for parents and kids ages 0-5. Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. Thank you for signing for the Little Folkies! As you know, classes begin soon, and we are so excited to sing, dance and play with you through this wonderful season. Please read the Little Folkies class guidelines and FAQ's. if your child is attending with a caregiver or nanny, forward them these guidelines and ask them to become familiar with it, as it will enhance the enjoyment for everyone! Other than the necessities for your child, we only ask that you bring an enthusiasm for music and a readiness to sing and clap along! We'll bring the songs, instruments, movements, and sounds for a fun-filled music class!
