Little Folkies is a multi-award winning early childhood folk music program for parents and kids ages 0-5. Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. Thank you for signing for the Little Folkies! As you know, classes begin soon, and we are so excited to sing, dance and play with you through this wonderful season. Please read the Little Folkies class guidelines and FAQ's. if your child is attending with a caregiver or nanny, forward them these guidelines and ask them to become familiar with it, as it will enhance the enjoyment for everyone! Other than the necessities for your child, we only ask that you bring an enthusiasm for music and a readiness to sing and clap along! We'll bring the songs, instruments, movements, and sounds for a fun-filled music class! Please make sure you are signed up for our newsletters, like us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on all the fun things we'll have to share with you during the semester. If you miss a class you can reschedule for another time, anytime throughout the semester. If you signed up for the full series you get 2 makeup codes per season, and make-ups do not transfer between sessions. Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

Laugh, act, and create original skits in a week of comedy fun! We are partnering with MoBu Dance studios once again to bring camp to our big kids! This is the perfect camp for those who love comedy and improv. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:00 - 3:30pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Create a giant collaborative storybook, bringing characters and adventures to life through art. Each day, campers will explore a new chapter filled with painting, drawing and more. Move, sing and dance with Teacher Sohnjay at JAMaROO Kids Union Street! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Music, Movement, Dance and Storytime. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! Arrive as early at 10:15 to play in the space, take the Dance & Creative movement class from 10:30-11:00, enjoy open play from 11:00-11:15, and take Art Class from 11:15-11:45, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play from 11:45-12:00! 10:30-11:00 Preschool Arts & Crafts This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering preschool soon. In this class kids are using dribbling, shooting and passing skills in fun and creative games. Playing games with partners is used to develop teamwork. Scrimmages of 2v2 and 3v3 progress over the season to emphasize the rules of soccer and prepare kids to join a soccer team. This class is a NON-PARENT PARTICIPATION class. If your child needs some help, you are more than welcome to join them to make them feel comfortable. This helps both your child and the group. Gather all merfolk, its the anticipated time of the year when the Great Mermaid Festival is in full swing! Spend this week-long camp in the Ocean of Possibilities as we pretend to be merkids, preparing for the grand mermaid festival with puppet shows, crafts, and fun!
