JAMaROO Kids Club NOE VALLEY Combo Preschool Art, and Dance & Creative Movement Class: 1 Day a Week : Thursday

Come spend the Thursday mornings at JAMaROO Kids Noe Valley with this fun class combo. Arrive as early at 10:15 to play in the space, take the Dance & Creative movement class from 10:30-11:00, enjoy open play from 11:00-11:15, and take Art Class from 11:15-11:45, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play from 11:45-12:00! 10:30-11:00 Preschool Arts & Crafts This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll Explore different art mediums while fostering speech and language development and exploring textures, colors and shapes! 11:15-11:45 Dance & Creative Movement Come fly like a butterfly, hop like a bunny, stomp like an elephant, and tip toe like a mouse! In the JAMaROO Kids Dance and Creative Movement Classes, children are introduced to the basics of dance. Classes include a warm-up circle, stretching games, imaginative dance, partner dance, and free dance. Throughout the year, students will build their dance repertoire by adding: combination steps, body isolations, and layers of movement, keeping them challenged and engaged. Dance and creative movement is a wonderful way to foster self expression, while building gross motor skills, which we know are so essential to a child's ability to be independent and confident! In all of our JAMaROO Kids classes children are introduced to different genres of music from around the world, and are encouraged to use their imaginations. Each month we will focus on music & dance moves from a different part of the world. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This session, we will focus on fun on the Enchanted Garden, Outer Space, & Insects, Gardens, and Weather! This is an 8 week session for Monday-Thursday classes, and 7 week session for Friday classes. Session package prices are adjusted accordingly.
