Although I don't have official previous experience in childcare I feel quite confident in the position since I had to take care of younger siblings and nephews since I was basically a teenage. | Hi, I'm Victoria I am currently a student looking for a job in childcare while studying in Edinburgh. I'm based in Newington but am willing to travel for a position. I'm an enthusiastic and caring person who loves working with children of all ages in a variety of situations. My previous experience includes babysitting for 4 years for 2 families of 3 children each on a weekly basis. I helped with dinner, homework and bedtime. For 4 years, I've assisted with holiday clubs for large groups doing a variety of activities and taught dance to children aged 2-13 years for 5 years. I volunteered at an after school club for children with a variety of special needs, which I found truly enjoyable and rewarding. I'm July and August 2016, I worked as a childcare assistant at a member's club hotel near Inverness, looking after children in a range of activities, with children aged from 1 year to 16 years old. For 2017, I had a summer job looking after a six year old one-on-one during the school holidays. With each different experience, I have learnt to adjust my care to suit the child and the situation, preparing me for new childcare scenarios. I currently study Psychology at The University of Edinburgh. Outside of academics, I cheer with my University team and have dance for 14 years. I love all sorts of activities, from sporty and outdoor adventures to a quiet day inside with board games and baking. I've really enjoyed all these experiences and would hope to be able to help you in anything you need!

| Hi there, my name is Minna and I am a first year student at the University of Edinburgh reading French and Politics. I have had 2 years experience in babysitting and nannying over my school holidays and on my year out. I am happy to turn my hand to anything and have loved working with children. I am also available to help tutoring (my A-Levels were 3 A*s in Politics, Geography and French) but would be happy to help with other subjects too. | Hello! I am 21 years old and from California, USA. I am here in Edinburgh until the end of May as an exchange student. I have over 7 years of babysitting and childcare experience, including working as a teacher, swim instructor, and nanny. I am certified in CPR, first aid, and AED response for children, infants, and adults. I love working with children, every job I’ve ever had has been in childcare! I plan to continue my career in education when I graduate. I should mention that my student visa does not allow me to work more than 20 hours per week and I am currently in school so I will usually only be free in the evenings once I finish up classes.
