Hi, I'm Victoria I am currently a student looking for a job in childcare while studying in Edinburgh. I'm based in Newington but am willing to travel for a position. I'm an enthusiastic and caring person who loves working with children of all ages in a variety of situations. My previous experience includes babysitting for 4 years for 2 families of 3 children each on a weekly basis. I helped with dinner, homework and bedtime. For 4 years, I've assisted with holiday clubs for large groups doing a variety of activities and taught dance to children aged 2-13 years for 5 years. I volunteered at an after school club for children with a variety of special needs, which I found truly enjoyable and rewarding. I'm July and August 2016, I worked as a childcare assistant at a member's club hotel near Inverness, looking after children in a range of activities, with children aged from 1 year to 16 years old. For 2017, I had a summer job looking after a six year old one-on-one during the school holidays. With each different experience, I have learnt to adjust my care to suit the child and the situation, preparing me for new childcare scenarios. I currently study Psychology at The University of Edinburgh. Outside of academics, I cheer with my University team and have dance for 14 years. I love all sorts of activities, from sporty and outdoor adventures to a quiet day inside with board games and baking.
