| Hello! I am a reliable and caring individual who loves spending time with children. They are so full of life and always manage to put a smile on my face. I studied early childhood care and education in college, and took child studies courses in university. I have eight years of experience working with children in a childcare nursery, and I have babysat for numerous families back home (in Canada). And, I am currently working in another nursery here in Edinburgh. I love teaching kids to walk, talk, read and write. I enjoy watching movies with them, reading books to them, helping with their homework, listening to their silly stories, going on walks and to the park with them, colouring, making crafts, and baking with them, just to name a few. | Hello! My name is Lucia, and I'm currently a fourth-year Graphic Design student at Edinburgh University. I’ve been babysitting and nannying since the legal age of 14. I started with my family (I have three brothers) and close friends, then extended to friends of friends. For about four years, I regularly nannied for two families until I moved to Edinburgh. When I returned home during the summer, I realised how much I missed looking after children. | While in New York, I worked with three families consistently and provided occasional childcare for several other families as well. I helped with homework assignments, enforced routines, took kids to museums and parks, and read Sherlock Holmes stories or Goodnight Moon – whichever the occasion called for. I genuinely love children and find tremendous joy in spending time playing, learning, and seeing the world through their eyes. I have always been very comfortable with kids -- I am one of four siblings. My youngest brother is ten years younger than I am, and I have been looking after him since he was born. I am perfectly happy to (and actually quite enjoy to) prepare dinners and keep the house tidy, and absolutely love doing arts and crafts as well as baking with kids. I am resourceful and good at coming up with activities, and I love to tour the city with children – to take them to museums, parks, and libraries. Though I do not drive, I am comfortable maneuvering public transport with a couple kids in tow!

| Hi, I’m a 23 year old female who has just graduated university in painting and art history. I’m a happy, energetic and caring character! Alongside my degree I’ve been working as a support worker for young children with autism for over three years! I am also group lead for the charity that I work with, looking after groups of up to ten children and organising a small group of staff. I also work one on one with children as well. The ages of these kids have ranged from 3 years old to eighteen years old! At work I organise all the activities so I have lots of ideas for fun things to keep the kids entertained.
