Special needs carer!
| My name is Juliet. I’m 28 years old and I hVe a psychology degree. I’m currently doing my masters in special education. My goal is to become an educational/clinical psychologist for children with all types of disabilities. To gain experience working with kids, I volunteered at Christian Community of London. I have been responsible for teaching adults and young people in everything related to Christianity. I also have been actively involved in lesson preparation, classroom management and a wide range of children’s learning activities. Recently, I started volunteering for KEEN London. Is a charity in London providing one-to-one sports and fun for children and young adults with special needs. I have supported children with learning, behavioural and physical disabilities; autism, ADHD, down syndrome, cerebral palsy. I have learnt how to monitor children progression across the term and currently, I am learning Makaton to support their communication. I also did a temporary job in Dedben park High school as a SEN teaching assistant. I supported children with learning disabilities, behavioural problems and 1:1 cerebral palsy.

I’m happy to helps with evening or weekend childcare
| Hi! I’m Georgia, I am looking to help out parents that need any evening or weekend babysitting. I am energetic, enthusiastic and could probably give your child a run for their money on any Disney! I have previously worked with children with additional needs in my job, specifical children with Down’s Syndrome and Autism. I was a 1:1 for a child with autism and felt that I was more than capable in the role, helping him through daily activities in pre-school, tracking his development and creating a close bond with his family. My older brother is also autistic so I have experience with both children and adults with autism. I currently work Monday-Friday as an Early Years Practitioner in a Pre-School in Waltham Abbey and have done for 4 years. I babysit for a number of my children from there and thought why not branch out a little too. I have my level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and have an up to date DBS check. I am happy to supply a few references from both my workplace and parents of children that I have looked after before if you prefer :)
