Special Needs Care in Bishop's Stortford

| I have been working in special needs care for 2 and a half years now. And I love every minuet of it. I am very patient and have a lot of empathy.

| I worked in a special needs school for over 6 years, mainly working alongside children with learning difficulties, Down Syndrome, Autism, hearing impairment, behavioural problems and also was a special needs nanny for a 10 year-old autistic boy. I have also been a respite carer for a boy whom had severe seizures. I currently help with my young Grandchildren after working as a foster carer & Babysitter in London. I am searching for part time work.

| I havent just recently handed my notice in at a special needs nursery where I have worked there for 9 years and I loved! I was a key person to many children with many needs. I also ran a Saturday where the children were 3 - 11 years old they have a range of needs. Also alongside this I run the holiday club. I worked in the teenage group where members were 11-18 years old and then also at the adult club where the oldest member was 75!! I currently work at Sainsburys two days a week on a Wednesday and Thursday. I also look after a young boy with Autism on a monday evening this involves getting him in of the school bus and feeding him his tea and just playing with his toys until mum comes in from work. Also a boy with Angelman syndrome and epilepsy on a Tuesday and Thursday which I have done coming up to 4 years now. I have to get him in from school, sometimes we sit and watch telly, go for a walk (when the weather is nice) then we will have tea and I bath him and get him ready for bed. I have basic makaton training. During my time at the nursery I have gained a lot of experience and done a lot of training.

| SEN therapist in dyslexia, dyspraxia GDD,ASD ADHD and behaviour. Work 1:1 with children during school hours at a primary school. Happy to provide further support to families x
