| I am extremely patient, understanding, a quick learner, hands on, loyal and I have fantastic communication skills. With my younger brother being autistic, I have developed a great understanding for the disability and I have gone into a SEN LSA role at Columbus School & College. Being involved in this job has really widened my knowledge about different disabilities and of each end of the spectrum. I have experience working with children whom have ADHD, Autism, cerebral palsy and speech delay.

| I have a lot of experience with adults with learning and physical disabilities, ranging from peg feeding, seizures, manual handling, hoist, slings, splints, medication and much more. Also with the elderly with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, mental health. Adults with brain injuries and spinal injuries. I’ve worked in big teams, 1-1, 2-1, lone working and also worked out in the community.

| Hi I’m Phoebe a 23 year old graduate. I have worked within a special needs school for 3 years amongst children of a variety of ages and disabilities. My home really is in autism but I am trained in most things, including epilepsy, dysphasia, and general health and safety and moving and positioning. I also have my Essex steps training and have ultimately been working the past three years in an ASP ‘behaviour’ unit with extreme behaviours, for example, biting, hair pulling, punching, spitting extra. I have worked with children from 1-12 but also have a small amount of experience with the older children at college aswell. The children I generally work with are non verbal and autistic so I generally know most Makaton and know how to use pecs etc. I am also ABA trained. All around I love what I do, and would love to be able to help a family out. I also have a degree in illustration so have a very creative side, I love art therapy and find it can really help with communication and confidence. I hope to hear from you!
