Special Needs Care in Westcliff-on-Sea

| Hi I’m a mum off 3 , my daughter is 20 a son nearly 23 and another son 25 . My 23 year old son has special needs , I’ve been a carer working for special needs 8 and a half years I love my job , I take them out in the community, on activity breaks and even holidays away , also I cover respite to give parents a break . Also I work along side adults with dementia, strokes , ect if you’d like to know more or asks me some questions please do , I love my job and get so much satisfaction out of working with great people .

| My willingness to learn and train new skills whilst also bringing my current set of skills to the company will counter act this. I have come to realise that my personal goal is to work in the Childcare setting; working my way up is the best way forward. I love my current job as a play worker for BOSP who are a charity based support for families who have disability children that need that extra support.

| I'm a mum to a special needs child. My daughter now 19 has down syndrome and autism. She is the reason I started supporting children/adults with special needs. I see the struggles they and parents/guardians face every day and see the importance of having support and respite. I have been supporting people with special needs for the past 3years and absolutely love it. Truly is the most rewarding job in the world

| I have always found making friends enjoyable, I'm a good listener and like to know what makes someone happy. I have a sense of humour when needed, and I feel I'm also good under pressure.
