Special Needs Care in Benfleet

| I’m a trustworthy, empathetic and caring individual who truly loves to look after other people’s needs and see people flourish regardless of of their ability or additional needs. I have 9 years of healthcare experience specifically in the Dental sector. I am level 3 safeguarding trained, as well as certification in full first aid and basic life support training. I have worked as a care assistant at a day centre specifically for adults and young people with Down’s syndrome and varying disabilities, I cared for service users, taught and supported them to gain life skills such as, cooking, supermarket shopping and work skills. As well as organising and supporting social trips out. I grew up around and helping to care for my cousin who is high functioning Autistic and these life experiences enabled me to have a greater understanding of people with additional needs. Later in life I have cared for elderly service users who require additional care and interactions for socialisation. Outside of work, I’m a keen home baker, I love long walks, Cars & car shows and spending time with friends and family. I’m a big animal lover, and I love nothing more than settling in for the evening with my pet cats and a cup of tea!
