| I have worked in the care sector for 10+ years I've been a carer for the elderly in both a care home setting and in there own homes duties included all aspects of personal care feeding given medication and looking after there general well being housekeeping meal preparation I have very good knowledge of dementia .I've also worked at hackney (new city college) supporting post 16 sen students for four years, and also in there homes. Duties included all aspects of personal care feeding and helping them to learn life skills and become as independent as possible /supporting them in the classroom and in the community

| I have support individuals with learning disabilities in their daily life, I have support with arranging daily/weekly activities for each individual service user. Supporting with personal hygiene, cooking to form relationships with others and keep in touch with families supported with finances,medication, make and attend appointments with service users, look after mental and physical wellbeing of my service user. Look after the wellbeing of service users (disable and vulnerable people} take them shopping collect pension, take them various to appointments (I.e. hospital) ASSIST service user to lead an independent and fulfilled life. General hospital placement palliative care l.e. Cancer patients (community and some hospital experience). Learning Disability (care home and community services physicial disability. Community and hospital). Tracheostomy care.ventilation management, PEG feeding, Catheter care suctioning. Daily task are personal care, bed making use of equipment such as hoist, suction machine, keep an eye on ventilatior machines ( Nippy3+), humidifier, machine to make sure they are in good condition and working order. Able to change ventilator machine circus, and also the peg machine when feed ends.

| I aim to provide an individual based approach working in an industry I have loved for the past 7 years; volunteering since the age of 15, with children and adults with autism has developed my understanding, patience and communication skills amongst other things. Volunteering inspired me to peruse a career as a support worker and youth worker with children and adults with special needs; I developed onto working within a school setting. I love the work I do and have travelled to other countries to learn new therapies and gain experience. I am able to communicate in a range of ways including Makaton and PECs. I am experienced with physical and mental disabilities (including autism, cerebral palsy, mental health, ADHD, Acardi syndrome, Down syndrome etc) and am able to provide emotional, physical and an individual based support. I have experience in a range of settings including a school, in care homes and own homes as well as camps. I am enthusiastic about the work I do and enjoy working within this area.
