I'm looking for a fun & energetic Special Needs Nanny/Carer to join a fab team of girls that look after my 16 year old disabled son (cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual impairment, gastro feeding) at our home. He is a happy little boy who loves a good giggle. He attends a local special needs school. Duties - you will be required to provide all personal care, give medication, assist other carer with therapy and lots of play time. Travel to school with him on the school bus and also pick up. Shifts - There are a mixture of mornings, afternoons, evenings and awake night shifts. Ideally looking for someone that can do at least 1 night shift each week and then happy to work around the other day hours needed. Rota is done a month in advance. Also looking for carers during school holidays only. Shifts times are usually - Awake night - 10pm-7am Morning - 7am-10am Afternoon/evening - 2.45pm-6pm/10pm Weekends - 7am-1pm or 3pm-10pm, 10pm-7am Benefits - • Good rates of pay • Full training and induction • Holiday pay • Pension scheme Requirements - • work term time and non term time • have the flexibility to travel on holidays with the family (you will have to share a bedroom with another female carer) • Flexibility is useful although set shifts will be given • Experience in care is desirable but not essential as full training is provided PM if interested. Carer will be required to manage his respiratory, physical and nutritional needs. Experience with NG feeding, oxygen, manual handling and seizures required.

The role involves NG feeding, administration of medication, oxygen management, Nebuliser, Chest Physiotherapy, Daily cleaning, Laundry, Respiratory care, Manual handling experience required.

Carers should have the experience of working with Special needs children with autism. Can work towards being a Tutor under a consultant with ABA / Montessori technique/ outgoing/ confident and cheerful demeanor Honest about child whether had anything to eat/drink/was upset and able to say this could be the reason/ who can work on their shortcomings to help understand the child better/ has professional approach and plan about daily activities to get involved with the child and can adapt accordingly in difficult scenarios such as meltdown. We are looking to appoint a carer to support our fantastic care team in Hersham. Our daughter is an engaging and happy teenager with a great sense of humour. The role involves getting her up in the morning, putting her to bed at night and following her care routines throughout the day. You will be trained and supported by our care team leader. Sundays 7.30am-7.30pm Additional bank hours available £16/hr. £9,984 pa. Essential experience required in manual handling/posture management, looking after a client with PMLD, epilepsy and medication/PEG feeding. Positive outlook and can do approach. Seeking a reliable, caring and committed full time night carer to join our wonderful care team in Hersham. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights 8.30pm - 9am. Essential Experience: Supporting a client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Manual handling and medication administration. Desirable Experience: Working within family home. Gastrostomy feeding. Our daughter is an engaging, happy and loving 13 year old, who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a visual impairment. She also requires her nutrition and medication via PEG. She has a great team around her, who work together to motivate her and encourage independence. This role will involve supporting our daughter with all aspects of her care plan, therapy and sleep routine. Our night carers sleep from 11.30pm - 5.30am when our daughter is asleep. When she wakes in the night, she may need re-positioning / personal care to help her settle back to sleep. From 6-9am, the carer will help with her morning routine, getting ready to go to school. Appropriate professional training available for the successful candidate.

You will work alongside other carers and family members including siblings, so team playing skills essential, together with a willingness to embrace a vibrant family atmosphere.
