We are seeking someone to join our family and fantastic team of ladies that help support our son, 18 who has cerebral palsy. He attends a local special needs school, enjoys days out, loves music and stories and generally being surrounded by others.
Ideal Candidate :
Outgoing, confident, calm person but fun and energetic
Happy to work independently but also along side other members of the team (usually 2 to 1 day time)
Common sense
Very good standard of English due to note taking
Responsibilities :
Providing all aspects of personal care
Feeding and fluid management
Therapy
Administering medication
Key Info :
£17-£19 ph (£19 for nights, weekends and abroad)
30-40 hours per week
Valid passport; DBS and references will be required
Full training and shadowing shifts
Previous support/care work would be beneficial
Pension and holidays paid
Travel abroad with the family and another carer
START DATE - any time we find the right candidate
£391 - £50230 Hr. / Week

I'm looking for a fun & energetic Special Needs Nanny/Carer to join a fab team of girls that look after my 16 year old disabled son (cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual impairment, gastro feeding) at our home. He is a happy little boy who loves a good giggle. He attends a local special needs school.
Duties -
you will be required to provide all personal care, give medication, assist other carer with therapy and lots of play time. Travel to school with him on the school bus and also pick up.
Shifts -
There are a mixture of mornings, afternoons, evenings and awake night shifts. Ideally looking for someone that can do at least 1 night shift each week and then happy to work around the other day hours needed. Rota is done a month in advance. Also looking for carers during school holidays only.
Shifts times are usually -
Awake night - 10pm-7am
Morning - 7am-10am
Afternoon/evening - 2.45pm-6pm/10pm
Weekends - 7am-1pm or 3pm-10pm, 10pm-7am
