This class is for all our little ones who want to dive into their imaginations! Everything we do is centered in the importance of play. We will use the power of make believe to travel on many adventures! Every class includes music time, a theatrical adventure, dress up and most importantly time to explore the depths of each child’s unique ideas! At City Kid Camp we bring the knowledge and training of youth development and combine it with games, sports, the history of our awesome city, appreciation of the natural environment and let kids do what they do best – play – while safely guiding them through new locations, social situations, activities.

Youth ages 11-14 are invited to come and learn about urban farming, sustainable building, land stewardship, water conservation, and farm to table dining at our beautiful location at Hawk Creek Farm. By supporting the completion of special projects and daily farm care, youth gain direct experience acting as land stewards. Daily activities include farm care, composting, animal care, teacher guided exploration on a topic of their choosing, and the creation of special projects that help the farm! Join us for a magical Miyazaki movie night as we enjoy Kiki's Delivery Service! Our pizza nights include theater games, costumes, a film-related craft, and of course… pizza (and carrot sticks)! Little Folkies is a multi-award winning early childhood folk music program for parents and kids ages 0-5. Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. We are thrilled to offer nurturing and nourishing culinary art and exploration programs to the Little School Chefs! This time we will bring the adventure to you! Cook, color, craft and create with our 'Colors of the Rainbow' enrichment program right from the comfort of The Little School Campus! Students will join us when their school day finishes for a seamless transition into Culinary Artistas explorations! Join us on the first Wednesday of every month from October-May for a special day of cooking, playing, creating, and tasting! We will explore the power of our two hands with delicious, colorful recipes, inspired by the best seasonal produce, sparking children's curiosity. Kid-chefs will get to craft their own hearty, homemade after school snacks, explore STEAM activity centers, spend time outdoors, create fun food-inspired art projects and much more! Our Baby Music Classes for infants and young toddlers provide an opportunity for parents and/or caregivers to sing and dance with their little ones to build and strengthen connections. In this group you will find a safe space to process all the challenges and surprises that come along with the arrival of a new family member. We strive to create a place where a parent and baby can come and just BE. Connect with new mamas & papas, practice breastfeeding/bottle feeding in a safe space, talk with other new parents about current concerns and joys, and enjoy connection and support when needed in a casual environment. Babies always welcome, of course! In addition to traversing the joys and challenges of being new parents, you will also learn about the signs and symptoms associated with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and will learn realistic ways to ensure that you are connected with the care and support that you need. Our groups are inclusive, welcoming & open to all. They are donation based.
