Welcome to Messy Art Lab’s MESSY MASTERS! ( 2 - 3.5) Each week, little artists will dive into hands-on fun with handmade play dough, colorful sensory stations, and ONE creative main activity designed to ignite their imagination. The focus is on free exploration and messy play—squish, explore, and create at your own pace! A Child-Led, Creative Experience Follow your child's lead—step back, observe, and let them discover their own path! Resist the urge to show the "right" way to do things, as the journey and the process are more important than the outcome. - Parents, if a nanny or grandparent will be joining your child, please take a moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey, we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Our goal is to give young children a developmentally appropriate way to explore yoga poses, mindfulness and social emotional learning. In this class, children will work on developing and strengthening the following: Speech and language skills, Cognitive development, Creative thinking, Problem solving, Team work, Concentration, Listening Skills, Yoga Poses, Balance, Coordination, Flexibility, Strength, Social Emotional Learning, Breathing techniques, and Self Calming skills 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through the ocean of possibilities, with a mermaid themed show at the end of session!

This class uses creative story-based games to engage toddlers in their early learning experience in athletic development. Along with basic to advanced motor skills, classroom and team skills such as taking turns, listening to a coach and following directions are stressed in a fun environment. This class is a PARENT PARTICIPATION class. You are required to be with your child during the class. This helps both your child and the group. Once every 100 years, residents of the Rabbit Hole Queendom journey to Dreamland for The Dreamland Masquerade. This one day event will be sure to delight your little one, with music, dancing, mystery, and celebrations! Kiddos will embrace play, enjoy themed crafts, and make new friends. Drop off is from 9am - 10:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:00 - 3:30pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Lights, Camera, Action! 5-Day Filmmaking and Acting Summer Camp Overview: Lights, Camera, Action! is a dynamic and engaging 5-day summer camp designed to introduce students to the exciting world of filmmaking and acting. Through a blend of interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and practical exercises, campers will learn the fundamentals of storytelling, scriptwriting, acting, camera techniques, and video editing. Led by experienced instructors, this immersive experience will empower campers to unleash their creativity, collaborate with peers, and bring their ideas to life on screen. Day 1: Introduction to Filmmaking - Explore the basics of filmmaking and storytelling. - Engage in icebreaker activities to foster a sense of community. - Learn about the various roles in filmmaking and the importance of collaboration. - Dive into acting games and exercises to build confidence in front of the camera. Day 2: Pre-production - Develop storytelling skills through scriptwriting and storyboarding. - Assign roles and responsibilities for the production phase. - Plan shooting schedules and scout locations around the camp. Day 3: Production - Gain hands-on experience with filmmaking equipment. - Rehearse scenes and fine-tune performances under the guidance of acting coaches. - Begin filming scenes according to the production schedule. Day 4: Post-production - Learn the basics of video editing software. - Edit footage to create a polished final cut. - Explore sound design techniques to enhance the film's audio. Day 5: Screening and Wrap-Up - Present completed films in a special screening event. - Share experiences and insights gained during the camp. Throughout the camp, participants will collaborate in small groups to create their own short films, allowing them to develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Dragon's Pass is hosting a parade, and all the queendom is invited! Join us in a week of fun as we prepare for the festivities. Kiddos will get to create their own baby dragon character through craft costumes, make-believe adventures, and theater games, embodying the magic and making friends along the way. This class is great for those who simply want to discover a new language, reinforce language in a bilingual household, or expose their little to the many amazing cultures that make up our country! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Bilingual Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers), all while exploring the Spanish language! Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Using our curriculum, we will encourage both English and Spanish vocabulary, singing in both languages, and identifying objects and characters in English and Spanish as well! Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. In this class kids are using dribbling, shooting and passing skills in fun and creative games. Playing games with partners is used to develop teamwork. Scrimmages of 2v2 and 3v3 progress over the season to emphasize the rules of soccer and prepare kids to join a soccer team. This class is a NON-PARENT PARTICIPATION class. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Filmmaking & Acting Summer Camp Overview: This 5-day summer camp is an immersive experience where campers will create multiple short films, each exploring different storytelling styles and genres. Through a mix of hands-on activities, improvisation, and teamwork, campers will develop creative confidence while making movies they’ll be proud of. DAY 1: Action-Packed One-Take Movie & Silent Film Challenge 🎬 Focus: Acting, Movement, and Visual Storytelling • Icebreaker: “Act It Out” – Fun group activities to build confidence on camera. • The One-Take Action Movie – Campers create a 1-2 minute action scene in a single take (e.g., a zombie chase, a superhero showdown, or a spy escape). • The Silent Movie Challenge – Inspired by classic silent films, teams must tell a short story using only expressions and physical comedy (e.g., “The Great Pie Fight” or “Lost in the City”). • Screen & Discuss – Watch the films and discuss storytelling without words. DAY 2: Mystery, Comedy & The Talk Show Challenge 🎬 Focus: Writing & Improvisation • The Mystery Short Film – Groups create a 2-3 minute whodunit (e.g., “The Missing Trophy” or “The Haunted Backpack”). • Comedy & Improv Games – Learn comedic timing through fast-paced acting exercises. • The Talk Show Challenge – Each group produces a hilarious or serious talk show segment with characters (e.g., “Aliens Among Us,” “Secrets from the Principal’s Office”). • Scriptwriting & Planning for the Big Film – Start brainstorming and outlining the main project for Days 3-5. DAY 3: Filming the Big Movie – Genre Pick 🎬 Focus: Shooting a Full Short Film Campers break into teams and choose one of the following genres for their main project: Some examples of movies are below but the story will be decided by campers. ✅ Sci-Fi: “The Portal Problem” – A group of kids discovers a strange portal in the park. ✅ Fantasy: “The Magic Object” – An ordinary object gives someone unexpected powers. ✅ Horror: “The Cursed Phone” – A haunted smartphone wreaks havoc. ✅ Comedy: “The Worst Babysitter Ever” – A chaotic babysitting adventure. ✅ Drama: “Best Friends… or Worst Enemies?” – A friendship takes an unexpected turn. • Assign Roles & Rehearse – Actors practice, and directors finalize their shot lists. • Filming Begins! – Teams start shooting their films, capturing multiple scenes. DAY 4: Continue Filming & Special Effects Scene 🎬 Focus: Finishing Scenes & Adding Movie Magic • Morning: Finishing Principal Filming – Complete any remaining scenes. • The Special Effects Scene Challenge – Learn to shoot basic special effects, like: • Superpowers (e.g., teleportation, flying, force fields) • Disappearing Tricks (using jump cuts and clever angles) • Ghostly Figures (double exposure tricks) • Editing Prep – Organize footage and choose music/sound effects. DAY 5: Editing & Film Festival Premiere 🎬 Focus: Bringing It All Together & Celebrating • Final Editing Touches – Groups polish their films and add soundtracks. • Movie Poster Challenge – Each team creates a poster for their film. • Wrap-Up & Goodbyes – Exchange contacts and reflect on the week’s experience. Extras: • Online Film Access – Campers will receive a link to download their movies and we will sometimes hold film festivals at various venues across the city!
