Nanny with Own Transport
| I'm a married 51 year old mum to 3 lovely children! I have an NNEB qualification and a Level 3 childcare qualification. I worked in our local village school for 20 years with reception children, and years 1-4. Since then I've worked as a nanny. I was a nanny for 2 boys aged 5 and 2. A mother’s help for 3 children, 18 mths and newborn twins, they are all at school now! I worked weekends looking after a 9 month old baby. I was also nanny to an 8 week old baby, He's 6 now! We did lots of singing and reading, outside play and walks, bottle feeding, meal prep, laundry etc. I look after him and his little sister who's 2 now for occasional weekends so Mum and Dad can go away. I was also a nanny to an 8 year old. I picked him up from school, stayed with him overnight and took him to school the next day as his Mum worked in London. I look after a 4 month old baby in my own home at the moment. We sing, play and read books and go walking to the nature reserve to get fresh air and listen to birds! This is only occasionally, so I am looking for something more regular. I have some great references and I also have a DBS certificate.

Responsible, caring and experienced babysitter
| I've worked in childcare all of my adult life. I trained at university in Primary Education and now work in wraparound care (breakfast and after s school club) and also run a sports club. I love spending time with children and between my 7 nieces and nephews I find that I have a lot of experience babysitting alongside my professional experience in childcare I have full paediatric first aid and have experience with children from birth to 18, however I feel particularly comfortable working with children between 1-11. I've worked in primary schools so I'm more than happy to help with homework and I do not have any children of my own to rush home for so can put children to bed. I love animals so would not be put off by this, I would even be happy to help out with the pets if needed. I would be more than happy to discuss any further requirements:)

What sums me up as a babysitter is the passion I have for children.
| The experience I have with childcare is being a camp counsellor for the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming. While doing this job it was my responsibility the wake the children up on time and make sure they were dressed with the correct clothing for the day. Furthermore it was my responsibility to make sure the children ate a sufficient breakfast for the morning activities, making sure they had a balanced diet at all meals. Moreover, it was my job to come up with and run activities which the children would find fun and simulating teaching them new skills all the time. In addition to this, it was my job to lead campfires for the children, singing songs and putting on small plays. Also, putting the children to bed on time was part of my role as a camp counsellor, making sure they had brushed their teeth and ready for bed on time. Further experience I have with children is my work experience as a teaching assistant at a primary school. My job here was to assist children in task that they may have found difficult, this included maths, English and reading with children.

I am a reliable adaptable individual. Trust and confidentiality are a top priority of mine.
| Hi my names Emma, I am a mother of four children, who are aged 20,17,13 and 5 years. My 5 year old son was diagnosed with autism and learning development delay and sensory issues two years ago. My knowledge over the last two years has grown extensively as has my experience. I’ve completed a two day makaton course, which I found incredibly useful with my son before he was able to communicate. I originally trained as Nursery nurse 22 years ago, obtaining an NVQ in childcare. I also have basic first aid and CPR training. I’m passionate about working with children as I find it so rewarding supporting them and seeing them thrive and achieve their goals.

Hiring someone on Care.com to provide childcare services will cost an average of £11.49 per hour as of November 2024. This rate may vary depending on the experience each childcare provider has, how many kids you will need them to watch, the age of your children, and whether you need part-time or full-time childcare.

How can I find childcare help near me?
