Uni student looking for part time tutoring job from mid September in Lincoln
|
I have some experience working with children & would like to gain more by getting a job as a tutor. I want to work in education in my future and this would be a step further towards that. I have had experience volunteering with children through two charities called Cheshire buddies & Friends For Leisure where I help run clubs for kids of all ages with different disabilities. I also have baby sat for family friends children on several occasions, helping out with homework whilst there. I have had 2 weeks work experience, one week at a mainstream school & one at a special educational needs primary school. I tutored maths GCSE & year 8 student for 7 months. I helped teach maths, reading & art in younger years classes at school. I’ve done a first aid course and an online course in autism awareness.
I got a grade 9 (A**) in my GCSE maths.
My friends & family would describe me as kind, considerate and selfless. I love helping and caring for others in any way I can. Through the experiences I’ve had, I enjoyed being able to help others learn, which is why I’d like to gain more experience before going to university to study a degree in education and SEN.
