The experience I have with childcare is being a camp counsellor for the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming. While doing this job it was my responsibility the wake the children up on time and make sure they were dressed with the correct clothing for the day. Furthermore it was my responsibility to make sure the children ate a sufficient breakfast for the morning activities, making sure they had a balanced diet at all meals. Moreover, it was my job to come up with and run activities which the children would find fun and simulating teaching them new skills all the time. In addition to this, it was my job to lead campfires for the children, singing songs and putting on small plays. Also, putting the children to bed on time was part of my role as a camp counsellor, making sure they had brushed their teeth and ready for bed on time. Further experience I have with children is my work experience as a teaching assistant at a primary school. My job here was to assist children in task that they may have found difficult, this included maths, English and reading with children.
