Hi my names Emma, I am a mother of four children, who are aged 20,17,13 and 5 years. My 5 year old son was diagnosed with autism and learning development delay and sensory issues two years ago. My knowledge over the last two years has grown extensively as has my experience. I’ve completed a two day makaton course, which I found incredibly useful with my son before he was able to communicate. I originally trained as Nursery nurse 22 years ago, obtaining an NVQ in childcare. I also have basic first aid and CPR training. I’m passionate about working with children as I find it so rewarding supporting them and seeing them thrive and achieve their goals.
