I decompose topics into simple chunks and practice questions to cement understanding.
| I’m a Physics with Astrophysics masters student going into my 3rd year at the University of Bristol. I have experience in teaching & organisation from my 5 years spend as a cadet in the RAF ATC. I was elected head of physics society in my 2nd year at Harris Westminster sixth form. This gave me opportunities to produce lessons to talk about things I love, such as exoplanet detection. I was head of the running club too, while attending a challenging sixth form which even had mandatory school on Saturdays. My time in such an environment let me further develop my skills in presenting confidently and actually making lessons fun. I learned how to teach more visually, with animated Power Points and real-world examples. I received A*A*A*A in my A-Level Physics, Maths, Geography and Chemistry respectively, and an A in AS-Level Geography. I was also awarded the 2019 school physics prize at the end of sixth form. I began tutoring maths and physics to my friends at sixth form, with problems, lessons and textbooks. I strongly believe that learning should not take place just to pass an exam, rather to comprehend the mechanics of the world we live in. Please contact me with any inquires or meetings by email..

A professional software engineer with a passion for maths and helping people learn.
| I have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. I am a professional software engineer and work with technologies like Python, Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS etc. I spent my 4 years at university tutoring GCSE and A-level maths part time and I really enjoyed it and have continued to do so far the past year and a half. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications and have taught students sitting these exam boards at GCSE and A-level grades. I try to tailor my tutoring sessions to what students are learning in class and ensure that sessions support in class learning well. In the first few lessons I typically try and assess a students strengths and weaknesses and how they take in information best and then move on to work on these weak points with them in later lessons to help them build both understanding and confidence in their ability. I have never professionally taught computer science, programming, or software systems design but I have close to 2 years of industry experience and am very passionate about it and I would be more than happy to teach what I can.

4+ years experienced Mathematics, Science and Accounting Tutor of all levels
| After my experience in teaching for over four years, my interest to teach combined with my understanding of the importance of education is a stem to why I want to choose this career. While working as an assistant Economics teacher at college, I was explaining a mathematical method to a specific student who was having trouble understanding it. When I was able to successfully simplify the approach to them, it created a massive sense of achievement which ensured me that the role of teaching means more to me than just a job; it further grants me personal joy and self-satisfaction in contributing to societal development, regardless of the scale of my impact.

Always glad to make maths the most enjoyable subject amidst its complexity.
| I am a hard worker and very passionate about mathematics. It is the one subject that has now become a part of me. I love tutoring maths to those that find it difficult by breaking down complexity and making it as enjoyable as possible. However, I have never tutored it as a source of income. It was just something I did to help those in need.
