I have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. I am a professional software engineer and work with technologies like Python, Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS etc. I spent my 4 years at university tutoring GCSE and A-level maths part time and I really enjoyed it and have continued to do so far the past year and a half. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications and have taught students sitting these exam boards at GCSE and A-level grades. I try to tailor my tutoring sessions to what students are learning in class and ensure that sessions support in class learning well. In the first few lessons I typically try and assess a students strengths and weaknesses and how they take in information best and then move on to work on these weak points with them in later lessons to help them build both understanding and confidence in their ability. I have never professionally taught computer science, programming, or software systems design but I have close to 2 years of industry experience and am very passionate about it and I would be more than happy to teach what I can.
