American Nurse Looking to be Your Next Special Needs Care Provider
| Hello! I am an American registered nurse who just relocated to London. Prior to becoming a nurse, I've had experience babysitting special needs children on the weekends. In nursing school, I had extensive coursework in pediatrics and am CPR certified. As a nurse in the U.S.A., I worked primarily with adults in the neuroscience field, both special needs and otherwise, but I am also trained in the nursing care of special needs children. I love working with children and elderly folks alike, and I and am pet-friendly as well. Connect with me to find out if I'm a match for you and your loved ones!

We have been using Anisha as a baby sitter for a few months now and she is an amazing carer! She is very proactive when it comes taking over from us, she is hands on, playful, loving and very gentle with our son. She does anything she can to distract him when he's distressed, she sings to him, dances with him, they play and read together, and I also enjoy our chats, even if they are not very long. Given that our son is only 15 months and never been to nursery, I really appreciate Anisha's style of caring for our boy. I trust leaving them alone together and I can work peacefully knowing he's in good hands. She is alway available when she says she is, never postponed, and when we had last minute requests (as in from tonight to tomorrow at 11am kind of thing), she rearranged her schedule and came over. We are very happy we found her!"

Degree educated with nursing and special educational needs training. Animal lover!
| For many years I was a senior carer who worked in peoples home and then into a residential nursing home, specialising in Alzheimers and Dementia. At the time I was studying to become a Palliative Care Nurse. However, due to a personal situation I left the field of Nursing and began working with children who had/have Special Educational Needs. I absolutely loved it and am so proud of the progress that those children and I made. Caring is not what I do... its who I am. I love to help others; its when I feel I am my best self.

| My name is Maria and I’m an 18-year old college student at the French university Paris-Dauphine in London. Before coming to the UK, I had the opportunity to take care of numerous children aged from one to eleven years old. This amazing and enriching experience taught me the importance of patience and communication. In addition, due to my love of working with kids, I volunteered as a caregiver to special needs children, whom I accompanied to several trips in France. I was able to develop my multitasking skills as well as my sense of responsibility. Please contact me if you're looking for an energetic, cheerful and responsible babysitter.

SEN teaching assistant with a lot of experience with high need, challenging behaviour and autism.
| I have around 6 years experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant for children with additional needs in London mainstream primary schools. I have mainly worked with children with autism, adhd, global delay and trauma. I have worked with a wide range of autistic children aged 3-9 in a variety of schools. I have worked with non-verbal children, behaviourally/physically demanding children, ‘runners’, selective mutes, as well as the incredibly eloquent, continually curious, maths genius, autistic children. I frequently get told by colleagues that I am incredibly patient and neurodiverse children often get on well with and bond easily with me. I have also led the additional needs support in the 8-11s venue at a Christian conference/holiday camp called Spring Harvest in April 2023 and 2024. Co-ordinating the support of around 150 children with additional needs in a venue with approximately 500 children. In my spare time I also do childminding. Including a girl with mild cerebral palsy for the last 7 years.

A loving and reliable Carer!
| Hi My name is Shanaaz and I am currently a special needs teacher. I am responsible for helping numerous children from the ages of 11 – 16, some of whom have special needs, mild severe learning difficulties or circumstances which must be approached differently, providing an adequate level of individual attention to a pupil’s needs. I've been working with kids since I was 15 and I love it. I started by watching my younger brother and sisters and then began babysitting for kids in our neighbourhood. I have had few clients over the last 13 years, now I'm looking for something long term and on going. Over the years, I've worked primarily with infants and toddlers. But in the last 2 years I have worked with Secondary school kids with special needs including ASD, Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. I love kids of all ages. I am also a one to one ABA tutor after school, that works with children with autism. I have worked with two children in the last 6 months. These children range from the ages of five years to nineteen years old. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside keep them entertained. If not I like to bake, paint and draw with the kids. :) In my free time, I love dancing, painting, reading and cooking.
