For many years I was a senior carer who worked in peoples home and then into a residential nursing home, specialising in Alzheimers and Dementia. At the time I was studying to become a Palliative Care Nurse. However, due to a personal situation I left the field of Nursing and began working with children who had/have Special Educational Needs. I absolutely loved it and am so proud of the progress that those children and I made. Caring is not what I do... its who I am. I love to help others; its when I feel I am my best self.
