| As my primary family didn't allow dogs, I have been a cat owner for over 10 years and loved every minute of it. However, that didn't stop me from looking for dogs outside of my home and happily taking care of my friend's pets while they were away. It seemed natural, since I like spending time with animals and being outdoors. Also, as one of my cats sadly developed a kidney insufficiency in his older age, I have had experience with taking care of a sick animal.
