Fun and Compassionate American Care Worker
| I am an American living in England for university currently. I have been caring for people (elderly, special needs adults and children) since I was a young child. I cared for my grandfather, Deacon Doctor Diego E.A. Perez. When I wasn't caring for Deacon Perez, I would either be babysitting special needs children (mostly children with ADHD or Autism ranging all over the spectrum) or volunteering with a group of special needs adults (Any type of disability I helped with at this group) that I met through a volunteering program at my high school. I have patience with the elderly and people with special needs. I have compassion for the disabled, which transcends the awkwardness that can come with helping in the bathroom or general hygiene. Ever since I was a child, I have been caring for people who needed specialized help, like my cousin, who was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and lived with me. I also competed in competitive storytelling and chorus, which makes putting kids to bed a fun task. I also used to help run a daycare at my middle school (12-14) for toddlers (some of whom were special needs) where we would do fun arts and crafts.

Asif. Hall Green. Looking for part-time/full-time care work.
| After completing my degree in primary education I have since decided to dedicate my life towards helping those with additional needs. I have acquired first-hand experience of living with, and caring for an older brother who has autism. Being in this situation my entire life has given me many opportunities to work alongside others who have additional needs, which I have been doing so voluntarily, since the age of 13. It is because of all this constant and current experience, that my skills and confidence in facilitating for others has strengthened. Furthermore, since finishing university I am already caring for another individual with autism, who I regularly take out for social activities, and help promote their social interaction. I also help them in completing jobs at home, to help promote their independent living. My personal experience as both a carer and family member of an autistic brother, enables me to understand any expectations you may have. I am very dedicated to helping anyone. Being given the opportunity to do this gives me huge satisfaction, and the rewarding feeling gained, drives my passion in working with those in need.

I provide a friendly, professional level of care with a lot of background knowledge and experience.
| I have recently graduated with a first from the Birmingham Conservatoire doing applied theatre (community education). This course has allowed me to pursue my passion for working with young people with special needs, using drama as a powerful creative tool. I have previous experience providing weekend respite care for a young adult with PMLD, being a 1:1 assistant with a young boy at cubs with learning difficulties due to fetal alcoholic syndrome, assisting and running drama workshops both inside and outside special schools. I also worked as a after school carer for a family of 3 young boys from the age of 16, having to pick them up from school, cook them tea and help them with their home work. Currently I am a free lance artist, assisting Open Theatre in their work with young people with special needs. Supporting people with special needs is what I have dedicated my life to. This has all helped me to become a responsible, reliable but also fun person to work with. I grew up with a brother on the autism spectrum, this experience shaped my life. Through the rough and the smooth we have always been there to support each other. Growing up with my brother has had a huge impact on who I am today.
