As a teenager, I was an active member of the Young Kennel Club undertaking numerous dog training and team building activities, in addition to competing at Crufts in dog agility. I’ve been a dog and small pet owner for most of my life and therefore know how important our loyal friends are to us. But sometimes life gets busy with work and other commitments, and we need extra help to care for our pets. | I have worked for the Dogs Trust for just over a year now. I have seen how traumatizing kennels can be for dogs and how much better one on one home care is for your pet whilst you're away! I have my level 1 dog training, level 3 in animal care and level 2 in animal behaviour and have had and worked with dogs all my life. I am DBS checked and have a dog boarding licence through Warwick county council. I charge £15 per dog per day (24h period). I will be more than happy to adjust my home to suit your dogs needs, and offer any training you require for free! I will now be at home for the majority of the day as I start up my own business, so will be the perfect place for dogs who like to have someone around a lot. I still currently have a cat and I rescued her about 10 years ago. I love all animals but would prefer to focus on dogs and cats as I know more knowledge about these than other pets. I do have some knowledge about small mammals such as rabbits and guinea pigs so wouldn't mind helping out with those either. I have about 3 years worth of experience, this excludes all my years of growing up with my pets. I completed an animal welfare level 3 course at college and went to volunteer at a private zoo for 2 years where I helped to train the different zoo animals for film, television and various other things.
