Dog sitter/Walker and puppy friend!
| Hello wonderful pet owners! As a puppy owner myself I know how difficult it is to trust someone to look after your pet (baby?) when you can’t. We brought our own puppy home a few months ago after we found a house which has a lovely garden for him to run around in. As I work from home I spend my days playing with my puppy, running around the park, and working while he naps! He is a lovely cocker spaniel and is great with other dogs - my family have two large dogs and he absolutely loves them but they live a long way away so doesn’t get to play with them often! I would love to be able to bring some dogs who are in need of looking after on walks with us and look after them in our home! I’m very comfortable looking after puppies, medium dogs, small dogs, nervous dogs… and our puppy is really great with all breeds! I’m happy to teach them some easy tricks and continue training routines. Disclaimer: I am not a professional/certified dog trainer. I’m happy to drive to pick your dog up for walks/daycare if needed. | I have owned both cats and dogs in the past. I adore both! I raised two kittens and a puppy from 8 weeks old. I was the primary trainer for my dog (Chilli, an adorable cavapoo) and he has gone on to become a certified Pets as Therapy dog. I love cuddling and playing with animals. I have also been told that cats tend to gravitate towards me even when they are usually averse to being picked up or pet. I also managed to train my cats to sit and high five! Granted it took a little bit longer than my dog, but we got there in the end. I am also experienced in administering medication to both cats and dogs, even when they don't want to take it. I will also water your plants and do some cleaning as I am a crazy plant lady and I adore cleaning!

From birth to about 4 we had a Irish wolfhound crossed with other breeds ( we aren’t sure what ) and from 4 onwards we have had Darwin, a gorgeous chocolate lad who we unfortunately lost a year ago. I’ve really missed being around dogs, so this sort of job would be perfect for me. With my parents both working full time, looking after Darwin was a large responsibility of mine. Feeding, dog walking, enrichment and lots of cuddles of course. I’m used to being around large dogs but also love smaller dogs as well as my grandmother has a long haired miniature dachshund. I’m looking forward to interacting with dogs once again, and getting outside on some nice long walks.
