My name is Lisa! I am honest, reliable and caring person who adores cats!!
| Hello. My name is Lisa and I love cats. I have always had cats since I was young. I’m just starting out as I’ve had to leave my nursing job of many years working in the hospital and community. I feel this would be a great job for me as cats bring me so much joy!! I know how important it is having somebody look after your beloved pet if you have to go away. I have a cat called Max and he is very important to me!! I volunteer at the pause cat cafe in Bournemouth, looking after 10 rescue cats. I am also DBS certified and I have transport. Please note that the stated service rates are ‘from’ prices only and these are negotiable depending on location.

Home & pet sitter
| I’ve been home-sitting and dog/cat sitting for about 7 years now, alongside work (originally as a charity director and now as a freelance coach). Imperative I meet and develop a relationship with the pet(s) and the family before considering caring for the pet(s). For me, this is like any other relationship, there needs to be a real connection with me and the animal, so that they feel they trust me (and the owner also). It started with occasional dog/cat care and has developed from there. I tend to have few clients and keep them for a long period of time, whilst it works for us both. Thanks for checking out my profile!

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Poole

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Poole?

Hiring a cat sitter in Poole through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of December 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Poole?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Poole. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 1,356 cat sitters in Poole, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Poole have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Poole that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
