| Over the years, I've worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people, follow strict rules and procedures, and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required. For instance when a client is experiencing a decline in their physical health, I would provide emotional support to the family and be extra mindful to be as empathetic as possible as this can be an upsetting time. I would work with my Team to address the problems and explain to the client about any changes we make to their care plan to keep them as comfortable as possible.

| As a dedicated career, I have excellent communication, passion, patience, numeracy, organisation, good observational skills and great enthusiasm to work with the elderly. Core skills of mine in dementia care, infection control and prevention, basics life support, moving and handling , data protection, food hygiene practices, equality and human right, health and safety, fire safety, adult social care and safeguarding are adhered to and practiced on my day to day activities in care homes and hospitals; taking into cognisance and respecting the self dignity and respect for the elderly.

| Experienced care worker ,Help people with personal hygiene and washing Stocked toilet tissue and paper towels, as well as other bathroom supplies. Disinfected bathrooms, eliminating mold and soap scum from shower stalls and bathtubs. Moved furniture and cleaned baseboards in carpeted rooms before vacuuming. Removed rubbish and dirty linens from room attendant trolleys. Swept and damp-mopped private stairways and hallways. Spot cleaned carpets using industrial carpet cleaner.

| I've been working in elderly care for over 10 years now and thoroughly love what I do. I have such a great respect for the aging community and feel passionate about delivering the best possible support and care. I've worked in care homes, community care, day centers and in a retirement village (in New Zealand). Dementia is an illness that I have a special interest in and plenty of experience to match! I have a lot of patience and enjoy getting to know people where they are in each moment and find common language to create genuine connection and always with the aim of leaving someone in a better emotional state than before. Aiming for smiles :) I'm 30 years old. I have my own car, only recently passed my driving test so not comfortable to be chauffeuring anybody right now but I can pop out for errands on your behalf. I live in Sandyhills with my partner, Simon, and I work for an agency which allows me flexibility to choose my own shifts.
