| I have been a carer for 23 years,l have worked in care homes,supported living, hospitals,mental hospital, home care and as a live in carer.

| I am a hardworking lady of 30years . Nurse Assistant from my home country with 4years hospital working experience and two year non professional experience. I also have 1 and half year experience in the Uk as a carer . I pride myself in helping others who are in need of assistance and support

| I have Bachelor's degree in nursing and 5years+ of proven experience. I can communicate effectively through speaking and writing, and can present ideas with confidence and conviction. I work well under pressure and have a mind that works simultaneously to think creatively and logically to solve problems-an asset in unpredictable situations such as in a hospital environment and caring for adults. I want to continue on this journey further by working towards a qualification in Adult Nursing. When my Grandmother had a fall, she needed extra help to ensure she was able to live her daily life as normally as physically possible, in which I helped her. This involved washing, dressing and generally helping her with her day to day routine, acting as her carer for a period of 5weeks. I will be the perfect candidate for this role because I am patient, understanding, polite and caring and pride myself on my work ethics and practicality. I understand the importance of confidentiality and keeping patient dignity intact, whatever stage of their illness. I have been both the receiving and providing side of healthcare, and feel I have a full understanding of the role.

| I personally have zeal to take care of the elderly because I see them to be first class citizens who should be adequately taken care of. I also believe that if I take care of the elderly,I will live longer. I ensured I took care of my grandmother who was 120 years old, I bathed and cleaned her up although at a point she couldn't recognize anyone anymore but I see her to be vulnerable at that and the only way I could support her was to ensured I took proper care of her and this has to do with lots of patience, tolerance, understand, empathy and unconditional love. I usually visit the St Mary's old people's home back in Nigeria from time to time with lots of goodies and i usually interact and play with them when ever I go there.

| Over the years I have worked on and off in care. I have worked with young adults with special needs, physical disabilities, also elderly people with various care needs I have lived in and out depending on what is needed and my circumstances at the time. I am currently working as a live in Carer in Bracknell. The travelling is too much for me so am looking for something closer to home.

| I am currently a first year Nursing student. I previously I completed a HNC in healthcare practice aswell. All of this has provided me with an array of experience, as I have completed 17 weeks of placement in total at my local hospital, Doctor Grays Hospital. I also work as a Homecare support worker which is mainly elderly so have my most experience in that area.
