I've been working in elderly care for over 10 years now and thoroughly love what I do. I have such a great respect for the aging community and feel passionate about delivering the best possible support and care. I've worked in care homes, community care, day centers and in a retirement village (in New Zealand). Dementia is an illness that I have a special interest in and plenty of experience to match! I have a lot of patience and enjoy getting to know people where they are in each moment and find common language to create genuine connection and always with the aim of leaving someone in a better emotional state than before. Aiming for smiles :) I'm 30 years old. I have my own car, only recently passed my driving test so not comfortable to be chauffeuring anybody right now but I can pop out for errands on your behalf. I live in Sandyhills with my partner, Simon, and I work for an agency which allows me flexibility to choose my own shifts.
