| worked in Mendel Hospital as a health care assistant, where i assisted patients with their inquiries providing emotional and mental support, helping elderly patients with cleaning, washing, dressing and showering themselves. cared for my grand mum who had stroke and dementia for 5 years, I bath, feed and cloth her play games and sing with her. | I have taken care of an elderly individual with dementia, I assisted them with bed baths, incontinent care and I administered medication under the medical prescriptions. I have vast experience with various ailments such as, Alzheimer, Parkinson and cancer. I also perform light house chores like cleaning.

| I’m Sheri & I’m 34 years old. I moved to Cambridge (CB1) in 2017 from Dagenham in Essex where I was born & lived until I decided to start a new chapter. I have done a lot of care work for the elderly - this has ranged from clients who just needed a little home help to clients with severe dementia and whom were bed bound. I cared for my wife when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, And I continued with her care until she sadly passed away. I am looking for a few hours work a week. The rest of my time i work as a volunteer in the Children’s Society and the Salvation Army charity shops. As well as caring I could offer gardening, light shopping, prescription collecting etc.

| I have a Level 3 National extended Diploma in Health and Social care. I have worked in a care home caring for people with a wide range of disabilities and illnesses including palliative care and dementia, I provided all care including personal care, assistance with nutrition, mobility, social interaction, toileting and providing reassurance. I was the activity co-odinator and provided a wide range of activities for the residents including 1:1 walks, armchair aerobics and arts and crafts. I have completed an administration of medication in house course within the care home and I am able to administer prescribed medications within the care home. I have looked after a lady in her own home with dementia, I supported her with nutritional needs, reassurance when anxious and helping her to remain independent in her own home.

| I have been caring for an elderly gentleman suffering with dementia for the past 3 and a half years. Sadly he passed away last week and I am now looking to find a person in need of my care. I am from South Africa but I do have British citizenship. I have several nursing degrees (including a degree in psychiatric nursing) and have spent my entire adult life in the care industry. I am looking for a long term placement. I have a valid UK driver’s license with no restrictions on it. My previous job included shopping for my client, cooking, assisting him with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, keeping appointments, arranging gardeners and cleaners as well as general household maintenance. I developed a good relationship with the local surgery and regulated his medication and monitored and recorded his health issues accordingly. I am practically minded and have utilised available services to ensure ease of living and safety needs of my client.
