| Hi my name is Gemma, I’ve been doing care work on/off for 20 years. I have had time off for maternity as I have children. I have a experience in all areas of care, ranging from MS to end of life , from people aged 50-107! I have also been a senior carer in a nursing home for people with dementia.

| I am a local mature lady with many years experience caring for elderly people both in the community and in a residential setting. I can offer companionship, shopping, outings. light housework, personal care. Iam very patient and used to working with people with dementia . I have an NVQ2 in health and social care and a current DBS certificate .

| Over 7 years experience of caring for elderly clients both male and female. Including companionship visits, personal care and family support. Most of my previous clients required care and support with their various stages of Dementia (Alzheimer's disease, Vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia) and Parkinson's disease. I also have experience with palliative and end of life care. I take my role as a carer very seriously but I do have a sense of humour which I find helps bond with clients. I try and see things from their world and not mine . I value and respect Person Centred Care and this is the way I work. NVQ Level 2 Adult Social Care qualified Enhanced DBS with yearly automatic updates.

| I have been caring for an elderly gentleman suffering with dementia for the past 3 and a half years. Sadly he passed away last week and I am now looking to find a person in need of my care. I am from South Africa but I do have British citizenship. I have several nursing degrees (including a degree in psychiatric nursing) and have spent my entire adult life in the care industry. I am looking for a long term placement. I have a valid UK driver’s license with no restrictions on it. My previous job included shopping for my client, cooking, assisting him with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, keeping appointments, arranging gardeners and cleaners as well as general household maintenance. I developed a good relationship with the local surgery and regulated his medication and monitored and recorded his health issues accordingly. I am practically minded and have utilised available services to ensure ease of living and safety needs of my client.

| I worked in a dementia unit and in elderly care. I also have completed a level 3 autism and ADHD awareness course.

| I have been a carer for 13 years I started working in a care home when I was 16 in the kitchen helping at weekends whilst I was at school I then decided I wanted to become a full time carer which I did , I then become a senior carer then a unit leader then up to the deputy manager in the care home , I now have been doing care in peoples own homes for 9 months which I enjoy , I have a nvq level 2 and a level 3 I have done various different training throughout the years medication , moving and handling , dementia , safeguarding and more

| I have over 20 years of working in the community looking after clients with Dementia & Parkinsons & Cancer, I've had the privilege of looking after families loved ones at the end of their life & been a support to them, they have been a support to me as I do get an emotional bond with clients as I tend to look after them over a period of several years. I give my clients support & give them independence & above all the dignity that they need. I do overnight stays & morning & lunch calls short or long sits. Depending on what each client needs. NVQ2 qualified, DBS & have my own insurance as a carer in the community.

| I have many years of working in care/health the last 15years I’ve worked in the hospital I mostly specialise in dementia care I have done University of Tasmania Wicking Dementia and Education Centre courses for Preventing Dementia, Understanding Demantia and Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury. I hold RoSPA for Safer People Handling Trainers Level 3 Health and Safety OCS Grade 1 and 2 Health and Social Care Level 1 and 2 NVQ Ascentis Level 3 Award in Education and Training Level 3 Award Frailty Champion Online course I am only availible in the evening

| I have worked in a specialist dementia care home for the past 7 years , so very familiar with all aspects of personal care and person centred care , good communication skills and able to bring joy and laughter to residents in my care, I'm trained to administer medication,and I've worked days and nights , I'm trained in manual handling, dementia training,sova ( Safeguarding of vulnerable adults) , MCA trained ( mental capacity act ) and infection control and more ,I love to talk and learn about residents in my care
