Elderly Care in East Cambridgeshire

| As a family, we have a couple of elderly friends that we are helping out on a regular basis. I simply enjoy they company and often we have a long conversation about the olden days, sharing simply meals and just be there for each other.

| I have 8 years experience in care settings, both care home and community care. I am level 2 & 3 health and social care qualified, first aid and also home based childcare qualified. I have had a recent dbs check and am a driver. I am an out-going yet very understanding person, I am dedicated and passionate about my work and work under strict confidentiality. References available.

| I am looking to provide support to people within my community on my day off from my substantive job. I have previously worked in a nursing home as a care assistant. I particularly enjoyed helping people to remain as independent as possible and also being able to give loved ones reassurance they are in safe hands. I am very respectful, patient and understanding; and would always take the time to get to know the people I cared for on a personal level. I liked to treat everyone as an Indian and would adapt my approach where needed to help me form good relationships. As well as my work experience I also have BA (Hons) degree in Social Policy and attained an extended level 3 Btec diploma in Health & Social Care.
