A friendly and practical person looking to help those in need.
| A vibrant and compassionate person who will no doubt bring cheer to the home! I am recently exploring the world of care as a career and I would much prefer to be self employed and work directly with people to cut out any unnecessary overheads. I am more than willing to take on training and I am considering study to become an occupational therapist. I have worked in IT and other business roles in London so I am a fairly mature person and professional, but now I want to do something that matters and use my natural people skills. I have no problem with undertaking personal care as instructed, and I am comfortable with medical things. I adore animals and have a lovely gentle dog who I could bring along if someone would enjoy that, and equally I am very much embracing of any pets in the home! I have recently been in contact with a special needs school to do some work there so I should have a DBS check cleared soon, but in my case I just love variety and I love the elderly as much as all other people. I would live out generally but I am happy to do sleep-ins or stay for periods while other carers are away.
