I am looking to provide support to people within my community on my day off from my substantive job. I have previously worked in a nursing home as a care assistant. I particularly enjoyed helping people to remain as independent as possible and also being able to give loved ones reassurance they are in safe hands. I am very respectful, patient and understanding; and would always take the time to get to know the people I cared for on a personal level. I liked to treat everyone as an Indian and would adapt my approach where needed to help me form good relationships. As well as my work experience I also have BA (Hons) degree in Social Policy and attained an extended level 3 Btec diploma in Health & Social Care.
