| I currently look after both my niece and nephew. Both aged 2 but have helped since they were both born. I have also done the odd night for friends of family but I am wanting to find some extra work!

| Im 26 and first started off as an apprentice nursery nurse when i was 16. I then completed my level 3 NVQ in childcare when the nursery decided to take me on full time. After 3 years gaining amazing experience i decided i wanted a new challenge so i became a childrens holiday rep for thomson holidays. I took charge of the kids club rooms and the crèche rooms during the summer, whilst also doing all the party dances on stage and putting on dance shows at night for all the families. In the winter i went up into the alps in italy and was a whizz kid leader. (In charge of the kids club) and got to spend christmas day in a snow blizzard with 10 children, which weirdly was amazing. Which I seem to enjoy and it is a easy way to earn extra cash. I also have experience of working with school aged children as well as babies. I have a level 4 qualification is children’s and young people’s learning and development, have some experience of working with an autistic individual and I have had a CRB check therefore I am suitable and qualified to look after your children while you have a hard earned evening or weekend off.

For the first year i would work in all the rooms with different aged children which enabled me to gain experience working with children from different age ranges. I am currently working as a carer so I am DBS checked as well as working in the student union dealing with a wide range of issues. | I used to look after two children for about a year when I lived in London, they were ages 7 and 9. I used to pick them up from school every day and then take them home and look after them, feed them, help with homework until around 7 pm when their parents would come home. Now that I have moved to Leeds for University I am unable to keep looking after them so I am looking for a similar job. I am able to pick children up from school, cook / prepare food for them, bathe them, help with homework and put them to bed if needed. I have University to attend to 3 times a week and am completely free on. I am free on Wednesdays and Fridays and on the other days of the week I am available in the evenings (from around 3pm until later in the evening). I am also free on weekends, but would prefer to work in the week as I have to study and do extra curricular activities as I'm entering my final year of University. I am very friendly, outgoing and easy to talk to. I enjoy helping children I look after with anything they need, whether it be homework, help with simple tasks, or even questions about school or just general curious thoughts they may have.
