| Hello, I'm Monika. I'm 23 and I'm from Poland. Responsible, punctual, reliable and hard working are the words I would use to describe myself. During summer 2017, I was a volunteer in the kindergarten. Kids were in ages of 4-6. I was helping with supervising them during morning activities and play time. I would go on walks or trips with them as well. For about a month, when the kindergarten was closed, I took care of a little girl M. She was 2 years old at that time. My responsibilities with her were feeding her, putting her to naps/ sleep in evening, playing with her, bathing and dressing her, going on walks, helping with using a potty and speaking. As an au pair in USA, I lived with two host families. In my first host family, I took care of three boys, Z (13 years old), D (11 years old) and B (7 years old). In my second family, I took care of two kids, H (8 years old) and E (5 years old). With both these families my duties were similar which means I had to make breakfast, lunch and dinner for kids, make their beds, drive/pick them up to/from school, drive them to after school activities, help with homework, play with them, help with shower, do laundry and sometimes put them to bed.

| I currently look after both my niece and nephew. Both aged 2 but have helped since they were both born. I have also done the odd night for friends of family but I am wanting to find some extra work!

| I am a retired teacher, I am primary and secondary trained, after retiring from 30 years of teaching in 2017. I missed the interaction with the children so much that I was fortunate enough to be offered a position as teacher / evening matron at a local preparatory boarding school. I absolutely loved it and remained there until I relocated to Yorkshire in 2020 to be closer to my family. I continue to miss working with children and believe that I have so much experience in the education/ child care sector. I am extremely fit and well, have an innate passion and commitment to providing the highest level of care…… I also have a good sense of humour!
