| I am the eldest child in a large family, and my parents have always worked full time. Since i was young i have taken on the role of caretaker for my siblings and cousins, helping my parents and grandparents in any way that i could. I am accustomed to getting them ready for school, packing lunches, doing school runs, and cooking meals for multiple people on a night. Additionally to this my aunt fosters babies, and i have spent a lot of time around them, changing nappies, warming up milk and feeding and keeping them entertained when she needs a break. Growing up like this has made me a very maternal person, i value family and children and i cannot wait to have children of my own. I am currently studying psychology and education and i am planning to go into primary education after graduation, with the eventual goal to become an educational psychologist. | I have worked in day nurseries in the past with children from 0-4 years, I volunteer in a primary school with children age 4-8 years, I am a Beaver scout leader with children age 5-8 years and I work with Scouts and Explorer scouts who are 10-18 years. I have a Level 3 qualification in childcare and have done first aid and other training which I have certificates for. I live in BD2 and have a provisional license currently (aiming to pass my test this year), I can get public transport or walk if local. I am willing to cover in emergencies if your child is off school due to illness, I can look after children over night, take them out of the house for the day, or cater to whatever your needs are. I also have experience with special needs.
