| My name is Julie, I have been a Nanny for 28 years, since I was 18 years old. I love looking after children and helping parents to raise their children to be happy and contented people. I am enthusiastic and reliable, I don't mind pitching in with anything that needs doing around the house.

| Currently on maternity leave with a 5 month old baby girl. Prior to my own child I was a Nanny to a 3 year old and a newborn boy, but having relocated to Kings Lynn back in August last year I am looking for a more local position. Having worked within a busy environment as well as with children of various ages, I have learnt how to interact appropriately with numerous diverse personalities. I like to act with a can do approach and challenge myself in all aspects of my job role. The positive attitude that I possess would be helpful in caring for children in that I believe it makes for a better overall working environment for everyone involved. | I have been working within the childcare sector for the past 6 years, I have previously worked in a Primary School working with children 3-11 years and now I’m currently working in a Nursery with little ones aged 2 months to 4 years. I love my job as childcare is my main passion! I can provide a friendly, positive and caring Nanny service including working days, nights, weekends, school holidays or whenever you need me! Currently I have no children of my own and I’m living within the town centre of King’s Lynn, I do not drive therefore I rely on public transport, my legs and my bike which is fine for me as I love the outdoors. I am a very family orientated person and I spend a lot of my free time playing cards, board games, quizzes and going for walks with my extended family! I also enjoy being creative with my hands especially baking and arts and crafts! I tend to form strong and positive bonds with the children I care for and their families quickly. I do have a level 3 childcare qualification as well as paediatric first aid and safeguarding training too. I have recently been given training in epilepsy and febrile convulsions also. | Throughout my working career I have gained knowledge and understanding of Every Child Matters. I have a wide experience of assessing children’s development and at what stage they are currently achieving, to help them to move on to their next steps (Target Tracking) this is something I do on a regular basis with the children I have had in my care. I take into account a few key points when I do this, such as: Unique Child, the individual child’s stage of development. Positive Relationship, how I will help the children achieve their next steps, giving all Equal opportunities. Enabling Environment, how or what, I can do to their environment to help them achieve. I also work closely with Parents and other Professionals to help develop in all areas of Learning, some of which include; Nursery’s, Primary Schools and Health Visitors, giving them a detailed assessment of where the children are in their stage of development.

| I have 3 years in the child care industry, caring for children aged 3 months-11 years. I also have 8 months of live in nanny experience. Nannying is my passion and I’m very keen to get back into the job.

| I am a mum of 2, a 2 and a half year old and a 10 week old looking for some part time work helping out with childcare and general needs of a family. I am currently on maternity leave but once my baby is old enough would love to do this as a more permanent job. I’m also a qualified primary and early years school teacher so understand developmental stages well and children’s activities and needs.

I have an A level in childcare, have fun child activity classes at a local gym, I am currently working in a Nursery with children aged 6 months - 5 years ( although have experience with children up to 12 years ). I have a clean driving licence, DBS check and other qualifications such as health and safety, food hygiene and first aid.

I have a masters degree in historical archaeology but have found i’m most happiest nurturing children.
