| Enthusiastic Nanny. Providing excellent care for children and supporting their development is my vocation! Since 1994 I have worked with children (6 months - 11 years) in variety of roles, and as a nanny since March 2020. I am passionate about enabling children to have the fun, stimulating, active, happy and secure childhood that they all deserve. I am known for my kind, caring and gentle approach. As children's emotional wellbeing and mental health are priorities for me, I trained to be a Relax Kids coach. I enjoy engaging with children, and attending fully to their needs. I build warm relationships with them and am experienced at promoting positive behaviour, through praise and encouragement, encouraging respect for others and setting consistent boundaries. I love planning and delivering, fun and creative activities according to children’s interests and abilities. I like to give them opportunities to take part in outdoor activities, in order to encourage physical activity, connection with nature, enjoyment and respect for the natural world. I am a qualified early years teacher, skilled at helping to prepare children for starting school, giving support with reading and promoting a love of books and stories.

| I have a strong background in both childcare settings and being a sole charge nanny. This 'best of both worlds' approach and experience helps as I can use my knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum knowledge to tailor activities for the children, focusing on learning through play but also giving them the best start in life. Currently I have sole charge of 2 children, B6 and G3. The girl is with me all day, every day and we do lots of activities together, both educational and fun. I complete a detailed diary entry every day for the parents to see what the children have been doing. Including a whatsapp group between the me and the parents where updates, funny stories, videos and photos are sent during the day. I have experience with babies and children alike and am very comfortable with the different age ranges. I have my educational background within child behavior and psychology so can help and have helped with the implementation of routines and behavior plans. I love my job and I hope that comes across. | My name is Lily, I have nannied and worked in a range of nurseries over a period of 8 years; I’ve worked with children of all ages, even newborns. In all of the childcare settings I’ve worked in, I’ve followed the EYFS (a curriculum used to track childrens development) - So I am very familiar with all the fun and interactive activities that will help promote a child’s learning. I like to get out and about, going to playgroups, parks and softplays. I love cooking new healthy meals for the children, I’m Always taking those new recipes home to cook for my family too!! I have been working with children since I was 16 and have loved it since. I have cared for all ages from 6 months to 5 years and I love every stage of development that children go through.

| I have 21 years of experience with working in childcare , from working with all age groups , from 3months to 4 In a private day nursery! I have also had a multi sports business , where I have had the opportunity to coach children from 18mths , 12yrs . I’m very energetic and love the outdoors , and seeing children grow from strength, and see them thrive . Children should be able to explore messy play , and be creative with arts and crafts . I haven’t had the chance to explore the Nanny side of childcare and I would love to be able to bring my experience into a loving happy family .
