Enthusiastic Nanny. Providing excellent care for children and supporting their development is my vocation! Since 1994 I have worked with children (6 months - 11 years) in variety of roles, and as a nanny since March 2020. I am passionate about enabling children to have the fun, stimulating, active, happy and secure childhood that they all deserve. I am known for my kind, caring and gentle approach. As children's emotional wellbeing and mental health are priorities for me, I trained to be a Relax Kids coach. I enjoy engaging with children, and attending fully to their needs. I build warm relationships with them and am experienced at promoting positive behaviour, through praise and encouragement, encouraging respect for others and setting consistent boundaries. I love planning and delivering, fun and creative activities according to children’s interests and abilities. I like to give them opportunities to take part in outdoor activities, in order to encourage physical activity, connection with nature, enjoyment and respect for the natural world. I am a qualified early years teacher, skilled at helping to prepare children for starting school, giving support with reading and promoting a love of books and stories.
