Childcare in Harrogate

| I have my NVQ Level 3 Childcare diploma. I have worked with a variety of different children and groups. I drive and have a current DBS check and First Aid training. Please contact me if you are interested.

| While studying at the University of Exeter, I have worked for a family and looked after two boys, aged 13 and 16. I had worked for the family for two years, my role included; picking them up from school, taking them to their activities, supervising homework, making them a home cooked dinner, light household activities such as, hoovering and ironing. Since I have left university, I have worked in the care and SEN education sector. I have a level 2 in understanding autism, as well as first aid, epilepsy trained, life support trained, medication trained. I care for a young lady with disabilities on a bank basis. I have worked in an eduction setting with young adults with disabilities, helping them find jobs and support them in their studies. Alongside this I often look after my nieces and nephews, with the eldest now being 14 and youngest 2 years, helping support them since birth. I have a very mixed experience and I am looking to move into more childcare Monday- Friday.

I am currently a room leader in a preschool room at a private day nursery as well as a SENCO ( Special Educational Needs Coordinator) The qualifications that I hold..... In date DBS First aid NVQ L3 Childcare L2 Understanding autism A Degree in Children's Learning and Development. I am a confident child carer who is mature and possess the ability to develop close relationships with both children and families.

| As a student, I have helped out with babysitting a number of times during holidays since I was 17 for children ages 2-9. I have been recommended numerous times to friends and families for my calm, yet entertaining, approach to child care, however unfortunately a number of these families have either moved, or their children have grown too old to need babysitting! From April until September I am looking for an opportunity to carry this on in-between graduating from Durham University, and starting a degree in educational psychology at York University in late September!

Do you need a babysitter? I am reliable, trustworthy and kind and caring loving person,who has several years of nursery nursing experience within the childcare environment. I am adult/paediatric trained and I have a childcare qualification. I'm available at short notice on these dates above. | My friends and family always tell me how I'm born to be a mother, my dream job is to have my own child care company. I have a full, clean UK drivers license, and currently, a third-year university student studying a BA Hons in history.

| My experience of childcare has been diverse and informative; working with children between ages of 6-13. Through my past experiences with families, I have learned that the needs of each family are never the same and how to adapt myself to best suit each individual family. Whether that means bedtime stories, Disney films and dress up or key stage 1-3 tutoring in core subjects such as math's and science. Past experiences have given me numerous skills which will help me adapt to any type of family employer.

| I have been involved in childcare since I was 16 years old. It began with my work experience for college, I was in a baby room in a nursery for three months. I then got myself a job in an out of school club working with children aged 4-11. During this job I helped children with their homework, provided them with a snack/tea and kept them entertained until parents came to collect them. I have been in this job role for nearly two years and in the two years I have gained experience with all ages of children- nursery ages to primary school ages- as well as babysitting in my spare time whilst at college.
